Bake At Home Croissants

What's better than our Sydney Royal Food Show gold medal winning croissant? One you don’t have to get out of your pjs for and will make your kitchen smell incredible! Exclusively from our Clovelly shop, choose from a 6-pack of our classic croissants, pain au chocolate or a mix of both.

Please note: results may vary depending on your oven (unless you happen to have an industrial pastry kitchen set up at home)... but this is certainly the next best thing.

What you’ll need:

Baking tray

Baking Paper

Pastry brush

Egg wash: 1 egg, 1 pinch salt, 1 pinch sugar

Directions: 

1. Pop quantity desired on a baking paper lined tray, spacing at least 5cm apart

2. Cover with cling film, then drape a clean kitchen towel over to rest at room temp 8-10 hours

3. My, how they’ve grown! Pre-heat oven to 220℃. Make egg wash by whisking 1 egg with sugar and salt, gently brush over the top of each pastry.

4. Place in the oven and turn the temperature down to 180℃.

5. Bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown. Timing varies with ovens, so keep a close watch after 15 minutes... but don’t open the oven until they’re ready!

Ingredients: Wheat flour, water, sugar, butter, honey, yeast, salt, dough improver

Allergens: contains dairy and gluten. Traces of other allergens may be present as everything is produced on site.

Storage: Keep frozen at or below -18℃. Bake within 10 days for best results as the yeast will degrade over time.
